Boarding GLORY at Nanjing Wumadu Cruise Ship Terminal. Departing around 16:00 pm and sailing for Chongqing.
Day 2:
September. 12th, 2019 CHIZHOU (B, L, D)
After breakfast, a tour to the Mt. Jiuhua which is one of the first national key scenic spots, the national 5A tourist area. It is known as one of the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism, along with Wutai Mountain in Shanxi Province, Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang Province and Emei Mountain in Sichuan Province. Along the way, you can visit the ancestral temple of Mt. Jiuhua —HuaCheng Temple, Jiuhuashan Historical Relics Museum, Huacheng Temple Square, Ming-Qing Street.
Day 3:
September. 13th, 2019 Jiujiang (B, L, D)
After breakfast, bus tour to Jingdezhen—Porcelain Capital of China. During the tour, you can visit the manual antique porcelain factory, ancient kiln porcelain yard and ceramic Expo area where you can see the whole process of hand-made porcelain and browser the exhibition of the historical customs and ceramic relics of Jingdezhen.
Day 4:
September. 14th, 2019 Wuhan (B, L, D)
After breakfast, a tour to the Hubei Provincial Museum one of top ten museums in China . It has collected over 200,000 cultural relics. Among these cultural relics, about one thousand are listed as first-class relics of China. Also, it has the China’s largest museum of ancient Musical Instruments. Then tour to the East Lake Scenic Area the largest downtown lake of China. East Lake is known as the ninety-nine Bay for its twists and turns along the lakeshore.
After lunch, sailing for Jingzhou.
Day 5:
September. 15th, 2019 Yueyang (B, L, D)
After breakfast, a tour to Yueyang Tower where you can overlook Dongting Lake and look at Junshan. Since ancient times, it has the reputation of “Dongting is the water of the world, Yueyang is the tower of the world” and has been listed as three famous towers in the south of Yangtze River, together with Yellow Crane Tower at Wuhan, Hubei province and Tengwang Tower at Nanchang, Jiangxi province. Yueyang Tower, as the only ancient building with original appearance among the other three towers , has its unique helmet roof structure, which embodies the wisdom of the working people and the ingenious design and skills of the skilled craftsmen of the ancient times. The well-known poem– A Panegyric of the Yueyang Tower, written by Fan Zhongyan, a great artist and poet, made Yueyang Tower more famous in the world. After the tour, return to the Glory for lunch, and then spend a leisurely afternoon on the boat.
Day 6:
September. 16th, 2019 Jingzhou (B, L, D)
In the morning, you will enjoy free morning tea and coffee in the bar. If the weather permits, you can also practice Tai Chi with a professional trainer on the sunshine deck.
After breakfast, you will have the shore excursion to Jingzhou Ancient City Wall, the best preserved southern wall in China. The construction of the Jingzhou Ancient City Wall is more than 2600 years ago in the Zhou Liwang period (904 BC – 829 BC). It is the only ancient city in China that has the longest continuation of the times, the most spanning dynasties, and evolved from Tucheng. After dinner, you can participate in the activities on-board.
Day 7:
September. 17th, 2019 Yichang – Three Gorges Dam (B, L, D)
After an early breakfast,either join in the optional shore excursion to the historical and cultural site of Three Gorges Tribe. After lunch, you will join the shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site, which is the largest water conservancy project in the world(about 3 hours). You can climb up to the Jar mountain view scenic spot to overlook the dam panoramic view. After dinner, you will continue cruising in direction to Three Gorges Dam Side through 5-step ship locks, the tour guide will tell you the relevant information about the level 5 locks of the three gorges.
Day 8:
September. 18th, 2019 Wushan County (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will have the excursion at the Shennv Stream(about 2 hours), changing from your Century Glory into a smaller boat. The Shennv Stream is 15 kilometers long. Because of the turbulence of the water and the narrow stream, there are 10 kilometers as remote valley. After the dam’s three phase of storage, tourists can go deep into the depths of the gorge to explore, then surprised see beautiful scenery and the original inhabitants. Upon return to your ship Century Glory sails through the natural beauty of the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge, the tour guide will introduce the unique scenery of the two banks on the sunshine deck.
After lunch, either join in the optional shore excursion to the historical and cultural site of White Emperor City or at your leisure on-board.
Day 9:
September. 19th, 2019 Zhongxian County (B, L, D)
After breakfast, taking excursion at Shi Baozhai Pagoda which called the “small Penglai Island” on Yangtze River. If you enter the Pagoda and look down from it, you can have a panoramic view of the infinite scenery – the rolling the Yangtze River, blue sky, the sail shadow and so on.
After lunch, join the various activities onboard. And a brief introduction of disembarkation will be held in the bar. After dinner, The farewell dancing party will bring you more fun of the night on the Yangtze.
Day 10:
September. 20th, 2019 Chongqing (B)
After an early breakfast on-board Century Glory. Guests will disembark around 08:30am from Chongqing Harbor.
