We can proudly say that we are moving fast and in the right direction. We launched a new ship, Century Glory, in September 2019, and we have everything put in motion for a new vessel for September 2021, Century Victory. We have done our homework, checked new excursions along the Yangtze River and included them in our itinerary. Feeling invigorated, despite the whole world having been put on hold, we introduced a longer cruise on the Yangtze River — Yangtze Panorama Cruises (15D14N), one lasting a whole 15 days instead of 11, where we take you through the heart of China across more than seven provinces and mega cities, filling your days with tantalising food, exciting new sites, still uncommercialised, and new activities on board. Apart from reinventing cruises on the Yangtze River, we have also enhanced our short cruises between Chongqing and Yichang. We also added an amazing (and it turns out very popular) city break in Chongqing, Century Cruises style. Let’s not forget a round trip from Chongqing to Chongqing of Yangtze Adventure Cruises (4D3N or 5D4N).
All these routes, carefully crafted with lots of details and love, aim to bring you closer to China and her centuries-long history.
After all this news one could settle down and wait for Christmas or Chinese New Year. Not us! We are proud to announce that we have moved our office to new bigger and better premises, ones which reflect the status of the biggest and most dynamic cruise company on the Yangtze River. We relocated to the heart of Chongqing, where we belong, at the Chongqing International Finance Square (Chongqing IFS), located at Jiangbeizui CBD, the financial center of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. The area is easily recognisable as it includes a 300-meter-high landmark skyscraper, and is easily accessible by the interchange station (Jiangbei Town Station) for metros Line 6 and Line 9 (under construction).
The entire 18-floor building of the Chongqing IFS Tower #5 is owned by Gaund Holding Co. Ltd. which was formerly known as Chongqing New Century Cruises Co. Ltd. It is guided by the latest scientific and technological innovations, based on new concept upgrade, management revolution and organizational re-engineering. We expect to remain China’s leading luxury river cruise line, gathering and focusing our resources and efforts on investing in high-end manufacturing, the latest high-tech agriculture and animal husbandry, artificial intelligence and health care, so as to bring the group onto a fast track of development.
